Youth in Biloxi MS after Hurricane Katrina

In August of 2007, some of our youth went to Biloxi, Mississippi for a week to help rebuild several homes damaged by hurricane Katrina. With the youth are Sam, the homeowner (center right) and Bruce, the site lead (center left).

Over Christmas break, 2008, some of our youth went to San Leon, Texas (near Galveston), to help those affected by hurricane Ike. In this photo, the homeowner, Rich (left), rode out the storm in his home. The water surge came close to the second floor. He vowed that he would “never do such a stupid thing again.”
